Aging With Grace in the Bronx

During the Holocaust, Jacqueline Kimmelstiel had one lipstick. She was a teenager at the time, and the small bit of makeup made her feel beautiful. Now, at 91, Jackie gets her hair done every two weeks at the Riverwalk Salon, part of her independent living community in the Bronx, NY. For Jacqueline and other residents, the in-house salon is a place for socialization and self-care.
